Unnecessary junk in the water is preventable with your help! As part of Riverkeeper’s annual State-wide Riversweep, we’ll be taking to the streets with registered volunteers to collect all the debris along the Brooklyn Bridge Esplanade (ie the NYCEDC identified “project area” for a self-filtering floating swimming pool!) that would otherwise end up in the East River.  Registration is free but required!
